After much
anticipation the new Hammer costumes from Smiffys have
finally started to hit the shops. Originally due out
before the lucrative Halloween market, the official
HammerShop took its first delivery before Christmas and
several more have followed. The costumes are the first
officially licensed "replica" costumes and are being
pitched at the fancy dress market.
The
costumes include a range of accessories, and latex
masks, all for adult sizes. There are three colour
variations of the Countess Dracula outfit, a Dracula,
Mummy, Frankenstein's monster (based on Christopher Lee
in The Curse of Frankenstein) and the Werewolf.
We'll be
roadtesting these over the coming weeks and will be
posting exclusive images and detailed reviews.
It you
can't wait however, Hammer's official website has most
of the costumes in stock, and the range will be
available through costume shops, and selected high
street retailers. You can send your comments to us at
