Bond
International have sent us preview images for their
forthcoming Hammer Horror deluxe poker chips. The
chips tap into an unusual and new merchandising area
for Hammer, but one which is understood to be
growing, particularly in the US.
In
2006 Bond issued a collectable preview chip to
celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hammer Horror, and
they will be releasing the first in their Hammer
Horror lines next month. Each set comprises a pack
of 6 chips themed around a particular film (the
first sets to include Twins of Evil, Hands
of the Ripper, Countess Dracula and
Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. The chips are
high quality collectors' pieces, gathered in special
themed packs.
Whilst
prices are still to be confirmed, it's expected that
each presentation pack will be around £45, with
stocks available exclusively from Collectables
Mania/Bond International from 1st March.
